Yeah, FW, I when I went back and read my post, I realized I wasn't being very clear. I actually wasn't referring to either Greenwald OR Kristol but to the "so-called Godfather of Neoconservatism" Leo Strauss who Greenwald discusses in this post.
At this point, brainfreeze would be welcome - at least SOME part of the body would be cool! We are about to break our existing record for number of consecutive days of 100+ temperatures.

At first I thought "this guy" referred to Greenwald, but then I clicked through and discovered it was Kristol.
I like Chomsky. Even when I don't agree with him, I have to admit that he's extremely smart. I don't see how that could ever be said of Kristol.

I didn't read Greenwald carefully enough... the mention of Kristol causes me to suffer brainfreeze.
