People who died

I never liked anything that Patrick Swayze was in but I'm sorry he died. He seemed like a perfectly nice guy and he was certainly a good dancer, but I wasn't impressed with his acting skills and the movies he was in basically sucked. And he was my age, ew. Meanwhile, this other guy I never heard of, Jim Carroll, died and he was maybe a not-so-nice guy but it seems that he was a whale of an artist.

I really liked the movie "Ghost."
Too bad he didn't get more good roles like that instead of stuff like Road House and Black Dog.

Hi Mike! You are certainly not alone in your liking of "Ghost" - it just wasn't my cup of tea.

Wow - 57 comments and counting on your Jim Wilson post!! Where did all those guys come from?

CNN.
It seems that whenever I link to a CNN story, 9 times out of 10 they will link back on their blog page and I will get a deluge of Web hits and comments. Then once they remove the link they all go away except for the random straggler like Shane who may come back a few more times.

Ah yes, Shane. Aren't you the lucky one!

Hmmmmmmm.... I wonder if this had anything to do with Mark's little meltdown the other day....

I didn't like ghost, though I was definitely in the minority.

I hold against him, "No one makes Baby stand in the corner," even though he didn't write it. One of the worst sentences every uttered in a movie.

I can't even read the stuff on that post, anymore, Mike -- it's so clearly over the edge.

Yeah, but it's mild by wingnut standards. The teabagger faction may be skewing the metric of what constitutes "normal" rightwing behavior these days, though.
