End of Summer
Well, of course, down here in the netherlands, summer goes on until about mid-October but as for the Friday series of Summer Songs here at BTW, this is it until next year:
I got a lot of mileage out of that song when I transferred my in-laws old home movies to DVD and added a soundtrack. It's the perfect accompaniment to soft-focus Kodachrome films of pasty white people wandering the beach and languidly frolicking in the surf at Balboa in 1963.
