Hey, mystery and French Women = Good Thing in my book!
I thin I'll have to check out the possibly only cinema in my part of the world that is showing that film.
And all while returning from a business trip jaunt!

Bwahahahaha...

This one is right up your alley, heydave, I have no doubt! I hope you'll report back here and let us know what you think after you see it.

As long as we're talking movies, when my 17 year old son visited last, we saw, here are our appraisals:

Get Smart...funny but not deep; but summer fun funny.

Indiana Jones...nice homage to previous flicks, helps if one suspends disbelief, but enjoyable.

In Bruges...OK, wow; a movie that is strange, fun, not condescending, yet entertaining, and will never appear at the megaplex family palace.

We finished his visit on that last one and were quite happy that we were "clever" enough to stumble into this sequence.

Thanks heydave! I'm pretty sure I won't end up seeing either Get Smart or Indiana Jones till they come out on cable, but In Bruges I would like to see. Also, I'm waiting for one to arrive here called The Edge of Heaven.

We had a hard time deciding between this one and Hancock. As we've done so many times this summer (yup, we saw Zohan), we went for the popular one. Hancock is very rent-able, I'd say. Look forward to seeing this.

I'll recommend WALL-E--although it is very depressing.

Next up -- BATMAN!
