This seems to be a widespread rightie meme. A conservative has the right to spout whatever nonsense or hate [s]he pleases, but any criticism of said nonsense or hate is a violation of their freedom of speech. Got that?
Isn't it all GIGO in the end? The Bushies have taken away many of our freedoms, and they claim to be the guardians of some. I was searched like a felon when I had to go to a minor federal building for a Social Security card. Now, we need passports for travel to Canada, and we are screened like terrorists at the airport.
Why don't the rightists complain about that?

Watching Ben Porritt try and qualify Palin's remarks on this was priceless. He finally had to resort to "it's gotcha journalism"
