Six more Friedman units?

Happy Groundhog Day, fellow blogmates! Me, I'm painting lawn furniture. What are you up to?

I found myself still getting over a cold, so spent the morning being introspective and catching up on some reading. Then I smoke some dope and took a walk outside. The pain dissipated and all the sounds of a quiet wintry day in Ioway spoke to me as I walked. I made my way to the local pub and had a vodka to honor my Polish ancestors. Every person I met was a story to observe. After the drink I made my way to the grocery store and bought just what I needed, yet felt indulgent. Got the fireplace going on my return home and made dinner. Before the day was over, I extricated the last full centimeter of sliver that had been lodged in my thumb since early December. Funny, even after a trip to the ER 7 weeks ago, it was left lingering under my skin, unbeknownst to all.

It was a real day.

Since December! Agh! Glad you finally got that little terrorist insurgent. Now your poor beleaguered immune system can get back to making you fully well. Thanks for sharing your day with us, heydave - it was like reading a little short story!
