Choices Amongst The Anti-Choicers
So it seems highly likely that Rudy will be citing health reasons, again, to drop out of another losing campaign and will be spending more time with his family which, I'm sure, thrills them no end. This brings our blurry focus 'round to Huck and Mitt who appear to be engaged in a hilarious duel over who *hearts* George W. Bush more - now THERE'S a brilliant strategy! But I really think that Huck doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning the nomination, so let's take a look at Mitt: Sure! Just what this country needs! Another lying, corporate whore, religious loon to further hasten our country's pell mell race to wrack and ruin.

There's really not much choice on the Repubican side which is why they are in such flux. I still think McCain has an outside chance to come in at the last moment as their consensus candidate after Huckabee burns out like a bottle rocket.
I must say, though, that I am very happy with the choices on the Democratic side. I would be pleased to have any of them (well, except perhaps Kucinich) as president. Hillary, Obama, Edwards, Richardson, Dodd, Biden - they're all good.
I just commented over at jimmyK's place about my prediction that Hillary will be the next president and might tap Richardson as her VP. I think Obama will go back to the Senate and not serve in her cabinet, but Biden would be a good choice as Sec. of State and Edwards could be the next Attorney General. And Dodd might go back to the Senate and challenge Reid for the majority leader post.
I'd really be surprised to see Romney as the GOP nominee, but who knows? I think McCain is their strongest candidate in a general election.
P.S. Happy holidays, Ann! Hope you have a great vacation.
Yeah, well, this talk about repubs just hurts my ass...
