These are the types of things that many in the conservative ranks hate, because they are forced to see the failed logic, yet many won't embrace it because it would challenge their whole belief system that is set to be solid and not fluid. I guess that is why the "stay the course" atttitude is so appealing to those on the right. Of course who buy into Goldberg wouldn't bother to look that shit up and see that he is full of shit - great! Now I have to run into idiots who really believe that liberals are descendants of Fascism.

One of the important points that Neiwert makes, I think, is how shamelessly and cavalierly Goldberg trivializes the subject of fascism, a subject that many hardworking individuals and organizations have selflessly attempted to educate the public about - and how Goldberg's POS undercuts all that effort. There really isn't enough contempt in the world to give JG his due.
