Pam, both Mike and I have emailed Bill to ask him why he has been absent from his blog for so long. We aren't really expecting him to respond, and so far he hasn't. We find it both odd and somewhat telling that none of his regular commenters have left comments on his blog asking about him, and we wondered if perhaps Bill had emailed his regulars to tell them about his absence. Did you, by any chance, hear from him?

I emailed him the same day you first mentioned he hadn't responded to either you or Mike when you'd emailed him. He did not respond to me either. I hate to sound so morbid but I've even been checking the San Antonio obits. (I know, an awful thought.)
