Dear God in heaven just shoot me now.
Every second that goes by that this insufferable little pig remains unindicted is a step closer to the point of no return for our country. I do not see anything from either Clinton or Obama that tells me either one of them has what it takes, or is willing to do what is necessary to fix this.
UPDATE: I see that I'm not the only one with a gloomy outlook.

Courage, Ann! Courage! We shall overcome, I promise. By this time next year, the Bush years will start to fade away like a bad nightmare that you can't quite recall all the details.
The country will move-on and people will continue with their lives largely unaffected by the machinations in Washington, D.C. At least, those whose lives aren't shortened by a trip to Baghdad.
Remember that we didn't have to indict Herbert Hoover to make people spit evertime they heard his name. Bush has damaged his party and his legacy far worse on his own and any efforts by Democrats to pile on at this point would just detract from his colossal failure. Best to let him slink away into the dustbin of history rather than try and turn him into a wingnut marytr.
As the vulture said, "patience my ass, I'm gonna kill something."
Actually, I'm not that anarchic.
Yet.
You know, Mike, it's bad enough that the Dems are letting Bush get away with his crimes, and I understand your point about not making him into a wingnut martyr. But why in heaven's name do the Dems keep rolling over for the guy? The only possible explanation that I have seen so far is that they are covering their own sorry asses. I'm sorry to be so doom and gloom today but stuff like this just makes me sick. And I was just starting to get well!!!
Never fear though, I'll snap out of it, and soldier on! I think heydave might be on to something in that now might be a really good time to engage in some activity that involves heavy pounding, like making bread or splitting logs....
